Electronic waste or e-Waste now-a-days is one of the most rapidly growing stream of pollution in the world. The fact is that, we don’t even realize that the loads of gadgets or electronic junk we use in our daily lives are actually a waste which could harm the whole environment in future.People find it very difficult or lifeless without these gadgets being used in their daily routine. The most common e-wastes are mobile phones, television sets, refrigerators, washing machines, watches, ipods, tube lights, ceiling fans, air conditions, flash drives, discarded computers, office electronic equipment and many more.So, how many of us are aware of it?

In a survey last year, 51.12% of respondents said they are aware of legislation criminalizing the abandonment of e-waste, while 48.88% were unaware. This time, the percentage of those aware of the laws has risen to 55.86% and the percentage of those unaware has dropped to 44.14%.
